Valentine crafts at home

There are so many super fun Valentine projects and crafts that we would love to do, but we just don't have enough days in the week! Here are a couple fun things that you can do at home with your kiddo(s):

A long distance hug - send this precious card to grandparents or loved ones that don't live close enough to receive the real thing! It is sure to brighten their day.

A love list - this is a great way to dive deeper into your little ones thoughts! We will be talking so much about love these next few weeks, this would be a good extension to what we are doing at school, and a great keepsake!

Foaming hearts - if your child is really into messy play, or you have a little scientist at home, this is your project! This is so much fun and does not take much clean up! (we do a bunch of our messy experiments like this in the bathtub at home for an even quicker clean up - plus my girls love any chance to wear their bathing suits in the winter!)

And here are some easy lovey snacks:

Heart "lunchable" - this is one I will for sure be doing for my girls lunches a couple times in the next couple weeks! I'm thinking watermelon, salami, cheese, cucumbers, and I have to get my hands on some heart shaped crackers!

Cupid kabobs - How cute are these!! For really little ones or elementary kids that can't have skewers in their lunch boxes at school, use coffee stir straws - they work just as easily and are a little safer!

Carrot hearts - These are a little labor intensive, but look so cute in a salad or soup! Funny story - I made these two years ago for my then preschooler to take to school and just as I finished up, she said, "I think my friends would like polka dots better". Like circles. Like the shape a carrot is already. You win some, you lose some.

And a little something sweet:

Strawberry shortcake kabobs - These can be made with any fruit, drizzled with chocolate, made with brownies instead, or dipped in whipped cream! The serving size is perfect for little bodies, and the mix and match possibilities are endless!
