Art Fair Sneak Peak

Wow have we been busy creating this month!  Art fair is right around the corner, this Friday April 26th from 6-7:30.  We look forward to transforming the school into an art museum featuring each child's art.  A huge thank you to all of our helpful volunteers who aided teachers and children with these messy fun projects!  Here is a little sample of what we've been up to:

Spring Exploration and Art Fair Preview

We are back from spring break and getting creative as we began our projects for art fair this week.  Mark your calenders!  This year Harmony Art Fair is Friday, April 26th.  Here is a sneak peak of this weeks projects.

 We have been noticing so many signs of spring around our playground!  We used investigative tools to make observations then made a list of what we noticed during large group time. 

Afternoon Speicals

Afternoon is an engaging time at Harmony.  We lay down for rest while listening to stories and music.  Afterward we have snack and choose work for a while and when the weather is nice we often end our day exploring outside.  Each afternoon teachers take turns leading specials.  Monday Mrs. Megan teaches science.  Tuesday and Friday Mrs. Michelle teaches yoga.  Wednesday and Thursday Mrs. Brooke teaches Spanish (with the help from her donkey puppet Diego). 

St. Patrick's Day Party

Thursday and Friday we enjoyed a St. Patrick's Day Party at Harmony.  We played a Bingo game, made a leprechaun faces, created a St. Patrick's Day crown, and ate delicious green snacks!  Mrs. Brooke is a talented face painter, as you will notice in the pictures below.  Thank you to all of our parent volunteered who donated snack or their time to help out!
