Happy Halloween!

Our Halloween black and orange party was a huge success!  We painted pumpkins, dressed up for a "photo booth", played Halloween bingo, pin the face on the pumpkin, pumpkin toss game, and delicious black and orange snacks.  The party ended with a scavenger hunt for big pumpkin and of course a little song and dance.  Thanks to all of our parent volunteers who donated time or a snack to make this party so much fun!

The Snow Flys!

Before we could make any big leaf piles, snow covered the Harmony playground!  Nothing is better than strapping on all of our snow gear and making snowmen, snow angles, and catching it on our tongues as it falls.
Working together to make a snowman.

We discovered if we put snow on the slide before we slide down with snow pants on we go super fast!

Fall is Here!

We've been having a blast playing in the fall leaves this week.  Soon there will be enough leaves to make great big piles; we can't wait!  Here are some pictures of past weeks playing on the Harmony playground before it's gotten cooler.

Friends waiting for the swings with a timer to know when it's their turn.

The bikes are so much fun when there is a friend to share it with!

Teachers have been getting creative at snack time!  Check out our pumpkin snack made of rice crackers, cream cheese, carrots, and raisins.

We are so fortunate to have outstanding parent/family volunteers.  As we've been studying Native American culture, an uncle of one of our students is a Native American from the Tlingit tribe in Alaska.  He read us a book, taught us some Tlingit phrases, and showed us some amazing artifacts including a framed eagle feather.  What an amazing visitor for our little ones!  Thank you!
